General Information

Cleveland Golf Club were established in 1887, their course is the only true links course in Yorkshire and are also one of the oldest courses in the county.

The course offers easy walking and is a fair challenge to players of all abilities.

The club have hosted many County and Professional events and is the home to the Amateur scratch competitions the Cleveland Salver and the Mid Amateur International.

Undoubtedly a very popular attraction with visitors being made welcome and assured of a friendly atmosphere.

In April 2002 they moved into a brand new Clubhouse, this was officially opened by Sir Michael Bonallack on May 31st 2002.

The Clubhouse is open seven days a week and the Bar is open between 11 am and 11 pm.

The Bar and Lounge are on the upper level of the Clubhouse, which gives magnificent views over the course and sea. There is easy access via stairs or a 8 person Elevator, the Clubhouse has been designed to serve the needs of people who have disabilities.

The Bar is very light and spacious, and have a 42" Flat Screen Television with Sky Sports package and a full size snooker table.

They also have a large Lounge with its own bar and dance floor, and hold a social event once a month with live entertainment and various other events during the month.

The Lounge is available to non members who wish to book this room for a special event, Wedding receptions, Birthdays and Christening parties have all taken place. They also offer a good catering service with a large choice of menu.

So please come along and see what they have to offer, if it is the golf, or any of their other facilities, everyone will be made welcome.
